Mining gave life to Cerrillos and to neighboring towns such as Bonanza City, Carbonateville, Waldo and Madrid. And when the boom passed and the mines closed, that life ebbed away. Scattered over the hills and in the valleys everywhere are skeletal remains of mining activity: deserted buildings, black and foreboding entrances to shafts, broken tools and equipment, fallen timbers from the windlasses, gallows and hoist houses, tailing dumps and slag heaps. These offer silent testimony to the once prosperous past of the Cerrillos mining district and are an appeal for all students of history. MARC SIMMONS, the prominent author and historian, has received many awards for his research and writings on the American Southwest. protection plan is easy.
The protection plan worked on my coffee pot. It was just over 14 months and started to leak. I first called amazon and they sent me a link to the protection plan. It was very easy to use. I received a Amazon gift card instead of a replacement. The price of the coffee pot had increased so you will receive the lower option. I did receive the total cost of the pot at the time I purchased it.

It is worth purchasing a Protection Plan on an unfamiliar item
Bought a 3-year protection plan for a nut milk maker machine for $5.99. It was a fairly new kitchen item in our household and we were not familiar with the brand. So, I bought the plan for a piece (peace) of mind. The machine worked nicely for about 18-20 months with daily use until it tripped the circuit outlet.
My initial chat with Asurion did not go as I expected due to discrepancy on their end as they see a protection plan for the nut milk maker as a sporting goods valued between $100-$199, not as a kitchen item valued between $30-$39.99. ( I had bought 3 different protection plan on th same day for multiple items purchased on Prime Days). They were looking at a different plan and I was unable to get them to "scroll over" to the appropriate protection plan.
I tried again on a different day during the first hour of their contact hours and had a cheerful Asurion agent who was able to find the appropriate kitchen item protection plan. It was a simple and thorough conversation and transaction. I was refunded within hours after I packed up and dropped off the damaged item out to UPS.
Moral of the story: Asurion Protection Plan is worth it and contact them at the start of their first day shift, not at the end of their evening shift.
