Every devotion should be adapted to the local group and its needs. Insert other poems, illustrations, Scripture selections into the devotions. Take full liberty in cutting out certain portions of the devotions and substituting some of your own materials which you may feel to be superior and most helpful to the group you will be guiding. Put each devotional thought into your own words and adapt it to your particular group needs.
