Limited vinyl pressing comes in gatefold jacket with deluxe liner notes, band photos, label scans, etc. In the mid ’60s, primal rock ‘n’ roll was alive and well in garages and rehearsal spaces all over the U.S. Inspired by ‘50s rock, the British invasion and hormones, teenagers formed bands that were rough, raw and spirited. Some of them were competent enough to record in a real studio while others kept banging away until the hippies came along and the scene became more psych-oriented. But for a few years, those sweaty hours in a garage really mattered. This collection is proof!
