The Atlas of Birds captures the breathtaking diversity of birds, and illuminates their conservation status around the world. Full-color maps show where birds are found, both by country and terrain, and reveal how an astounding variety of behavioral adaptations--from flight and feeding to nest building and song--have enabled them to thrive in virtually every habitat on Earth. Maps of individual journeys and global flyways chart the amazing phenomenon of bird migration, while bird classification is explained using maps for each order and many key families.

Conservation provides a strong focus throughout, with maps illustrating where and why birds are most under threat, and what is being done to protect them. Separate sections examine key factors influencing their distribution and endangering their survival, from deforestation and climate change to invasive species and the cage-bird trade. Bird groups most affected, such as island endemics, are highlighted, while a fascinating chapter explores the complex historical relationship between birds and humans, with maps and data for everything from poultry farming to birdwatching.

The maps are supported by an authoritative text that uses the very latest data and case studies from BirdLife International. Packed with sumptuous photos, original diagrams, and imaginative graphics that bring the numbers to life, this book is a stunning and timely insight into perhaps the most colorful and intriguing group of organisms on our planet.

This is a solid piece of kit. Very sturdy pieces of steel,
Color: Black, Size: Width up to 13.4''
Many options for configuration, the only thing is double check your measurements. Mine ended up just not deep enough to use it with the current desk. I have. Waiting for an updated desktop. With a sit stand desk. The bar across the middle cuts your distance in half and the purpose of buying this is because you got a big computer. Double check your measurements

Decent budget option, difficult to adjust once set up
Color: Black, Size: Width up to 13.4''
Not bad and serves it's purpose. There are better options for a few more bucks, but this one is holding very well for the price.

IT HOLDS!
Color: Black, Size: Width up to 13.4''
Heavy duty set. My desktop weighs about 60lbs, and I’m surprised how well it’s being held. I’ve always had my desktop on top of my desk. But it feels so much more roomier not having it on top of my desk. On top of that during this cold weather it’s like having a heater under my desk. Of course my desktop is gaming wise. But if you are someone with just a standard browsing desktop then it shouldn’t be hot down there. Make sure your desk is real wood or thick metal. If it’s an ikea table and the basic kind where it looks like wood, but it’s actually cardboard inside then for sure it’s gonna snap off, and that wouldn’t be pc mounts problem, rather a desk type issue.

Heavy-Duty Solution for Large Towers — Rock Solid
This CPU holder is exactly what I needed to reclaim my desktop workspace. I wanted to get the computer off the desk to clear up room for projects, but I didn't want to put it on the floor where it’s susceptible to static and pet hair. This mount keeps the tower tucked away under the desk but still within easy reach. Build Quality & Weight: The unit is impressively well-built with sturdy steel. While the specs state it can hold up to 44 lbs, my current build is closer to 20 lbs, and it handles it with zero flex or wobble. It feels very secure once locked in. Design & Airflow: One of the best benefits I’ve noticed is the noise reduction. Having the case mounted under the desk surface helps shield the sound of the fans, creating a quieter workspace. The open-frame design is also great for airflow and keeps all the ports easily accessible. It’s highly adjustable (width 7.7” to 11.8” and height 20” to 25.8”), so it should fit almost any full-size case. Installation Tip: Installation was straightforward, though I’d recommend measuring your desk thickness first to ensure it can support the weight. If you’re looking for a solid, full-size PC holder to keep your system off the floor, this is a great choice. It feels like a professional-grade mount that will last through several different builds.
