Learn to Sew Your Own Bra 

Have you ever dreamed of sewing your own bra but felt a little intimidated? Our Bra Making Workshop with Isabelle Serrano - affectionately called Bra Camp - is the perfect place to start. Over two inspiring days, you’ll learn everything you need to create a bra that truly fits you.

By the end of the workshop, you’ll not only have the confidence to make your own bras at home, but you’ll also gain the skills to tackle future lingerie sewing projects with ease. Plus, you’ll meet other friendly sewists who share your passion!

What You’ll Learn:

• How to measure and understand bra sizing
  
• Choosing and using the right bra making fabrics and elastics
  
• Making simple pattern adjustments for your shape
  
• Tips for sewing neat, professional finishes, both inside and out!

Who’s It For?

This workshop is suitable for confident dressmakers. You’ll need to know how to use a sewing machine and have made a few simple garments before, but you don’t need to have made a shirt yet.

What’s Included in this hands-on lingerie sewing class:

• Two-day bra sewing workshop (Friday and Saturday)in our welcoming studio in the Cotswolds
• Expert tuition in small groups
• Use of sewing machines and equipment
• Bra making kit with lace, findings, elastics, and a matching spool of thread
• Printed diagrams showing basic bra fitting adjustments
• Resource list of UK bra making suppliers and online store
• Exclusive discounts for future projects
• Tea, coffee and very good biscuits
• A calm, encouraging atmosphere where you’ll learn loads and feel proud of what you’ve made

Underwires aren’t included, but during the class you can try different shapes and sizes to find your perfect fit before ordering.

We’ll be sewing either the Harriet Bra by Cloth Habit (sizes 28A–45H) or the Willowdale Bra by Cashmerette (sizes 28C–54J). These beginner-friendly bra sewing patterns are supportive, comfortable, and beautiful - ideal for learning lingerie techniques you’ll use over and over.

What to Bring:

• Notebook and pen
• A small project for downtime during fittings if you would like to. 
• Otherwise just yourself and a willingness to learn

Lunch is not provided, but here is an excellent cafe onsite. Or you are welcome to bring your lunch with you and enjoy it in the studio
