Talking Heads members Chris Frantz and David Byrne met as students at Rhode Island School of Design, and made music in a college band called The Artistics. In spring semester 1974, the band gathered in Frantz’s Benefit Street apartment to record a demo tape. The cassette featured tracks soon to be classics in the Talking Heads discography: “Warning Sign” and “Psycho Killer.”
This collection for RSD Black Friday includes this newly discovered material alongside an additional eleven demo and live tracks recorded by the original trio lineup of the band (Bassist Tina Weymouth alongside Frantz and Byrne) in 1975 and 1976.

Comfortable, Breathable, and Stylish Polo

I’ve been very happy with this polo shirt. The fabric feels lightweight, soft, and stretchy, making it extremely comfortable to wear throughout the day. The quarter-zip collar gives the shirt a modern, sporty look that stands out from a traditional button polo. It also allows you to unzip it a bit for extra airflow when needed. The white color is slightly see-through in bright light, so that’s something to keep in mind. It’s not overly transparent, but it can be noticeable depending on what you wear underneath. One of the things I like most is how versatile this shirt is. It works perfectly for golf, but it also looks great for casual outings, travel, or even business-casual settings. The stretchy material moves comfortably with your body and never feels stiff. The overall quality is very good. The stitching is clean, the zipper feels sturdy, and the shirt has held up well after several washes. It has not shrunk, lost its shape, or shown any fading, which is always a good sign. It also comes out of the wash looking smooth with very few wrinkles, so it’s easy to care for and convenient if you travel often. For the price, this is an excellent value. It offers a great combination of comfort, performance, and style, and it feels like a much more expensive shirt. I would definitely buy more colors.

Deep black and crisp white, this collar really pops.

I’ve already mentioned how soft it feels, and the appearance is great too. That white collar really pops against the crisp dark black. I know the picture doesn’t capture it well and looks a bit washed out, but in person the black is very black and the white is crisp white, exactly as shown in the listing photos.
