The Roland FP-30X, in sleek black, is designed for both beginners and intermediate players. This 88-key instrument offers budget-conscious and space-limited students or performers the chance to experience the sound of a real piano in a lightweight and portable format. It delivers an authentic piano experience, thanks to both the SuperNATURAL Piano engine and the weighted, touch-sensitive PHA-4 Standard keyboard with escapement and ivory-feel keys—features found in Roland’s high-end home pianos.

In addition to its piano sounds, the keyboard comes with built-in practice and recording functions, as well as Bluetooth wireless support for use with popular music apps. It also offers a range of additional sounds, including organs, strings, synthesizers, and voices. USB support allows performers to play along with their favorite tunes and save songs captured with the built-in MIDI recorder as Standard MIDI File (SMF).

The keyboard’s 22W stereo speaker system delivers ample, room-filling sound without the need for connection to a larger PA or sound system. For those who wish to practice without disturbing others, the dual headphone jacks are perfect for private lessons. The Twin Piano setting enables student and teacher to play side by side in the same octave ranges.

Included with the keyboard are the KSC-70 stand & KPD-70 three-pedal unit for upright performance and traditional playing styles & DP2 Pedal
