100% wool yarn DK/8ply weight. Rustic, slightly hairy feel with well-defined twist structure, gentle hand wash at less than 30deg. Made using NZ high-country wool, with estimated micron count of 30-32. It is milled by Skeinz of NZ and they market it under the Southlander DK brand name. Also the same base as Truly Myrtle DK yarn.Best suited to adult's outer-wear, but still soft enough to be worn against the skin if you are not highly sensitive. Suit thick cosy garments or blankets and throws. 

Needle size recommended 4.0-5.0mm
