Handbeschilderde Delfts blauwe bloempot van Tichelaar Makkum, vermoedelijk daterend uit de periode 1940-1960. De pot staat op vier pootjes en heeft twee oren. Op één zijde staat een Nederlands landschap met een molen afgebeeld. De andere zijde toont een boerderij. De pot is rondom voorzien van bloem- en krullenmotieven.

De onderzijde is volledig gemerkt met het fabrieksstempel van Tichelaar Makkum, modelnummer 178 en het handgeschilderde monogram van de plateelschilder.

Koninklijke Tichelaar in Makkum bestaat sinds 1572 en is daarmee het oudste bedrijf van Nederland. Het bedrijf staat wereldwijd bekend om zijn keramiek en glazuren.
