Alan Alexander Milne (1882Ð1956) was an English playwright, poet, and novelist. Although he first gained attention for articles and poems written for the humor magazine ÒPunchÓ before World War I, he always insisted on writing what pleased him, rather than what his publishers demanded.

Milne is best known today for the four books inspired by his son Christopher RobinÕs life as a child. ÒWhen We Were Very YoungÓ (1924) and ÒNow We Are SixÓ (1927) are poetry collections. (Several poems from the former were set to music by Harold Fraser-Simson.) ÒWinnie-the-PoohÓ (1926) and ÒThe House at Pooh CornerÓ (1928) are stories about Christopher RobinÕs stuffed animals and their adventures in and around the Hundred Acre Woods.

This book is in the Deseret Alphabet, a phonetic alphabet for writing English developed in the mid-19th century at the University of Deseret (now the University of Utah).

Great for shoes
This brush works well for fluffing up the inside of those sheepskin clog shoes we all own.

It Works!
A small size but fits my hand and really does the job well. I have two sherpa blankets that the fibers are matted down from the dryer (should have air dryed) and this brush glides through the fibers, does require some effort but well worth it as I get instant results of the before and after. So far, brush is intact and handling the job, one larger and one smaller blanket to go and both sides. Very happy with purchase!

LL Bean slippers
Larger than it looks, but still small enough to fit into my LL Bean Wicked Good Slippers. Let's me comb out the shearling to keep it soft and pretty.

Good.
Works perfect to brush sheepskin. However it's a bit difficult to remove the fluff without hurting your fingers.
