Step into lace knitting with the Yarn Queen as your guide! In this hands-on class, you’ll learn the basics of reading lace charts, working yarn overs, and mastering decreases. After blocking, your swatch folds neatly into a charming pouch, perfect for holding notions, treasures, or gifting.
In this 2 Day class is the perfect balance of skill-building and project-making: you’ll leave with new lace-knitting confidence, a finished pouch, and inspiration for bigger lace projects.
Day 1: We will create the lace swatch and finish it. We will wet block it and leave it to dry.
Day 2: We will use mattress stitch to sew it into a pouch cover and then sew it to the canvas pouch to create a fun new pouch to keep your tools in or use as a gift for someone you love!

Materials Required:
- Cascade 220, or similar worsted weight yarn
- Size US 7 (4.5mm) or US8 (5mm) knitting needle
