Bagua is the symbol of Dao,  and initiator of I Ching, Chinese medicine, tai chi and qigong,  and feng shui.  Dao is one of the earliest philosophies in China.  I purchased these at a Daoist monastery in China during one of my trips jade shopping and learning about Chinese medicine and culture.  The qi energy of the Daoist monks was amazing.  They were very active but also meditative and spiritual.  Very different from Buddhist.  They showed me how to play Bagua on the center of their monastery floor.  One of the most meaningful of all my experiences in China.
